ABOUT
A REGular EXpression is a method of identifying and singling out strings or text of interest, usually from an overwhelming deluge of content and noise.
That’s what I’m trying to do here. Keep note of interesting snippets while filtering out the garbage.
Makes life easier.

Update (17 June 2009): It’s been nearly an year since I began this blog, and while I’ve only averaged about 2 posts a month, it’s begun developing some character. I see that it’s not just “interesting snippets” and notes- there’s been a fair bit of original writing too, and so the above description is not entirely accurate.
I’m still scarily (and inappropriately) fixated on Regular Expressions, though (many posts have been about them), so I’ll let the above description stay for a while.
